The NSW health systems 3

This has got us fascinated.

A New South Wales doctor, Dr Jassim Daood, after a dubious career in one area of medicine which seems to have stalled, (see this NSW Health Care Complaints Commission Media Release to see how dubious and how much it may have stalled,) then sets himself up in another totally different area of medicine, claiming that he’s some sort of genius with an impeccable 27 year record in this area, together with other false and misleading claims. This was taken from his website a few minutes ago – on 24 Apr 2015.

As we reported in this post, a letter about this was emailed to the HCCC on 14 Mar 2015 – but almost 6 weeks later, nothing has happened.

Those who have concerns for the welfare of any of the people in New South Wales who may be “sucked in” by Dr Daood’s advertising need to realise two things.

Firstly, that under the rotten New South Wales health systems Dr Daood is NEVER going to be held to ACCOUNT for his false and misleading advertising, and,

Secondly, that  under the rotten New South Wales health systems the people at the NSW Health Care Complaints Commission, (nor anyone else for that matter,) are NEVER going to be held to ACCOUNT for the fact that they have done nothing effective in almost 6 weeks, and will, in all likelihood, never do anything effective.

Do Mr Baird, the NSW Premier, Ms Skinner the NSW Minister for Health or Ms Goward the NSW Assistant Minister for Health care about any of this? Surely, if the Baird government cared about it, it wouldn’t be happening. You and I have to protect ourselves. False and misleading advertising is rampant, completely unchecked.

A 1 May 2015 update: 58 days after we published a post on the above, (on 4 Mar 2015,) and 53 days after we emailed a copy of this to Dr Daood for his “information and comment,” (on 9 Mar 2015,) and 48 days after we emailed details of the facts of this matter to the NSW Health Care Complaints Commission, (on 14 Mar 2015,) not a damn thing has happened!

The people of NSW are still exposed to this completely false and misleading advertising, and, presumably, some of them are being “sucked in” by it.

Don’t expect anything to happen too quickly when the NSW Health Care Complaints Commission is involved, folks.
