As we keep saying, if a person has an ordinary email address, it’s kindergarten stuff for us to know what they’re like, and, in fact, for the whole world to know what they’re like. The Bible says, “By their deeds ye shall know them,” and in 2015, “by their emails ye shall know them.”
We’ve been swapping emails with Ms Skinner for more than 7 years, for 2 or 3 years when she was still just the shadow minister, and feel that we know exactly what she’s like – completely and utterly hopeless!
Some years ago one of our readers had a serious complaint about an experience her father had had in the Ryde Hospital, a NSW Health hospital. The treating doctor was emailed asking how copies of her father’s health records and information could be obtained in accordance with the Health Records & Information Privacy Act 2002, in case they provided any information on what had gone wrong, and he said he had none, they were all held by the hospital.
(We would have thought the doctor should have had his own health records and information – but we’ve never had the time to chase up whether this is so or not.)
So we emailed Ryde Hospital three times and they didn’t respond. So we emailed Ms Skinner. We were lucky enough to get a response, albeit after about six months – most of the time you don’t get a response at all! And the response simply told us what Ryde Hospital OUGHT to be doing, (with a couple of links in it that didn’t work,) which we already knew – nothing about how we might get Ryde Hospital to comply with the law and do what it OUGHT to be doing. It was pure Jillian Skinner!
It’s one thing to know what someone is like, it’s easy, but it’s another thing entirely to get anything done about it.
So is it likely that Mike Baird will ever get her to “lift her game,” or replace her with someone better? Ha ha ha! Ha ha ha! Ha ha ha!
