Miscellaneous 1

This sort of thing is starting to REALLY annoy us – and it seems to be becoming more and more common.

On the 18 Apr 2017, we sent this in a letter by email to Greg Hunt, the Commonwealth Minister for Health:-

Having not even had this email acknowledged, we, today, 1 May 2017, sent him one of our “I’m wondering if you got this email?” emails, and decided to send a copy to David Gillespie, the Commonwealth Assistant Minister for Health as well. This is what we got back from Mr Gillespie!!!???

WHAT THE HELL HAS  A SENDER’S FULL NAME, RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER GOT TO DO WITH ISSUES ABOUT 350 PEOPLE A WEEK AND 1000 BEING PERMANENTLY INJURED!!!???

No doubt, some brain dead marketing person came up with the idea, “It will be perfectly acceptable and understandable to those interested in major health issues if we require them to provide their full name, residential address and phone numbers before we address their concerns – no doubt if we explain this to them they will be more likely to vote for us and not less likely.” And brain dead people like the David Gillespies of this world will respond with, “Oh yes! that makes SO much sense.”

Why aren’t these people honest and upfront, saying, “We have absolutely no interest in 350 people being killed every week and 1000 being permanently injured, and certainly none in allocating resources to provide responses to constituents who may have an interest in these matters.”
